House-Palace Matrera Abajo

This House-Palace belonged to the Veas family. The main façade has a stone doorway topped by a stone heraldry shield corresponding to the lineage of García de la Zarza Real de Veas. The interior, which is accessed through a hallway, maintains the original flooring and appears arranged around a central courtyard that houses two galleries, the first floor standing out with its eight semicircular arches that rest on marble columns.
